SPINDLES is part of a series of research applications developed by the Intelligent and Connected Systems Lab (ICSL) at Columbia University. This application uses accelerometer data to detect leg shaking movements and provide alerts in real-time in an energy efficient manner. We also collect data from other sensors on the phone (e.g. gyroscope and magnetometer) for research purposes.
